Position Overview
The Superintendent is responsible for overseeing and managing construction projects from inception to completion. This role ensures that all aspects of the project run smoothly, safely, and within budget, while maintaining high quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations on construction sitesCoordinate and supervise subcontractors and workersEnsure compliance with safety regulations and building codesManage project schedules and budgetsConduct regular inspections to ensure quality and adherence to specificationsCommunicate with clients, architects, and engineers regarding project progress and issuesPrepare and maintain accurate project documentation and reports

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Superintendent in general constructionStrong knowledge of construction processes and safety standardsExperience with commercial and healthcare construction projectsAbility to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawingsExcellent leadership and communication skillsKnowledge of scheduling software and project management toolsBachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred
