You will work onsite at Conagra's Imlay City, Michigan, home of the Vlasic brand. You will work in a team environment. You will report to Production and Team Leads. You will be scheduled to work the afternoon shift. You will be assigned overtime based on production demand. Your will receive $19.24/hr. plus $0.25/hr. shift premium.
Responsibilities:
The Tray pack Operator ensures the proper operation of the casing machines and shrink wrap devices. Machine set up verified following standard for production run. Perform routine quality verifications observing standard.
Operate the tray pack casing and shrink wrap machine.
Operate mash coder including changes and setup.
Monitor quality of operation such as coding, tray assembly, and label applications.
Load tray blanks, stretch film and hot melt.
Maintain machine and surrounding area is kept neat and sanitary.
Communicate with co-workers, Production Lead, Quality Department and Team Leads.
Train employees.
Complete all paperwork observing standard work
Interpret a variety of instructions/documents (English language) such as safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ensure actions remain consistent with plant safety goals and procedures.
