Treasury Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Treasury Accountant to join our team. This role is responsible for managing bank reconciliations, analyzing financial transactions, and supporting cash flow projections. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent analytical skills, and proficiency in Excel and PeopleSoft.

ResponsibilitiesReconcile the operating bank statement.Analyze and research electronic deposits, cashiers deposits, lockbox deposits, credit card transactions (ACH and Lockbox), wire transfers, and cleared checks.Maintain a monthly spreadsheet comparing electronic deposits to actual bank deposits.Coordinate with cashiers to investigate discrepancies between bank deposits and the monthly cash sheet.Reconcile cleared checks.Record adjusting entries for posting to the General Ledger.Reconcile the patient refund account.Analyze and research for reconciliation of all subsidiaries’ bank accounts, including cash receipt transactions, credit card transactions, deposits (ACH and regular), wire transfers, and cleared checks.Record reconciling adjustments for posting to individual general ledgers and maintain related files.Essential Skills3+ years of accounting experience with bank reconciliations, cash postings, and understanding of debits/credits.Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field (or relevant experience).Proficiency in Excel, including creating and using pivot tables and vlookups for reconciliations.
