We are looking for a motivated administrator who will oversee the banking functions for the Affordable Housing companies under The Michaels Organization. This role requires the use of effective communication skills and the use of proper grammar, spelling, and attention to detail.
Responsibilities1. Process wires, ACH’s, escrow withdrawals, writing checks and performing account transfers
2. Prepare Direct Deposit forms, W9’s, provide voided checks or bank verification letters and wire instructions as needed
3. Open and Close all bank accounts for MMA, MMS and MSLM including escrow accounts, operating checking accounts, money markets, security deposits, etc.
4. Point of Contact for day-to-day bank activities, including creating and maintaining relationships with bank contacts
5. Banking Administration on 15 banks for all users, including creating/deleting users, and unlocking users across multiple platforms for the entire company
6. Provide Bank Ratings Quarterly for audit purposes
7. Maintain bank account information in accounting system
8. Support team administratively
QualificationsRequired Experience:
Associate/Bank teller/sales officer experience preferred
Experience opening and closing bank accounts
Previous administrative experience preferred
Required Education/Training:
College or Business Degree preferred but not required
Minimum 2-5 years of relevant work experience (in similar field and/or industry)
General understanding of Federal Reserve and FDIC guidelines, rules and regulations
Required Skills and Abilities:
Experience using web-based accounting software such as Real Page
Experience using different treasury or commercial online banking platforms
Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word and Excel
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, initiative; ability to multi-task
Ability to quickly learn new applications or software tools and work independently with minimal supervision
Knowledge of project management best practices and experience working on accounting systems projects or similar.
