Treasury Accounting Consultant
The Treasury Accounting Consultant is responsible for managing and overseeing treasury-related accounting activities, including cash flow monitoring, bank reconciliations, liquidity management, and financial reporting. This role ensures compliance with financial regulations, optimizes cash utilization, and supports strategic financial decision-making. + Monitor and manage daily cash flows, ensuring optimal liquidity levels. + Prepare and reconcile bank statements and treasury transactions. + Maintain and improve cash forecasting models. + Oversee treasury-related journal entries, month-end close processes, and financial reporting. + Assist in managing banking relationships and financial instruments such as letters of credit, guarantees, and FX hedging. + Ensure compliance with internal controls, financial policies, and external regulatory requirements. + Support debt management activities, including interest calculations and covenant compliance. + Collaborate with finance, accounting, and other departments to optimize cash management strategies. + Assist in the development and implementation of treasury policies and procedures. + Work with auditors and regulatory agencies to ensure transparency and compliance in treasury operations. + Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA, CTP, or CFA preferred. + Strong knowledge of treasury operations, banking transactions, and financial instruments. + Proficiency in financial systems and treasury management software (e. . , SAP, Kyriba, Oracle, TMS). + Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. + Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines. + Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
