Treasury Analyst Location: World Headquarters, Fort Wayne, IN Reports To: Treasury Supervisor Company: Do it Best Group Position Type: Full-time, Salaried
Position Overview: The Do it Best Group is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Treasury Analyst to join our finance team at our world headquarters in Fort Wayne, IN. The Treasury Analyst will play a critical role in managing the company's financial assets, ensuring liquidity, and optimizing financial strategies under the direction of the Treasury Supervisor. This role is integral to maintaining the company's financial health and requires a highly analytical, proactive, and responsible individual.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Conduct daily treasury operations, including cash management, maintaining accurate records of company funds, and executing electronic funding transfers across the various entities within the Do it Best Group.
+ Monitor cash positions to ensure sufficient liquidity for operational needs, collaborating closely with other financial departments.
+ Assist in managing bank relationships
+ Support the Treasury Supervisor in risk management by identifying and mitigating financial risks related to interest rates and commodity risk
+ Prepare regular cash and liquidity reports on treasury matters to management, providing insights and recommendations for financial strategy enhancements.
+ Collaborate with accounting and internal audit teams to ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and regulatory requirements.
+ Support the Treasury Specialist with rebate reporting and other needs.
+ Assist in the development and implementation of new treasury technologies and processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
+ Participate in special projects and initiatives as directed by the Treasury Supervisor, contributing to strategic decisions affecting the company’s finances.
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
+ Looking for 2-3 years of experience in treasury, finance, or a similar role, preferably at a bank or corporate setting.
+ Proficient with financial software and advanced Excel skills; experience with treasury management systems and Oracle Fusion is a plus.
+ Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
+ Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
