Treasury Analyst

Our head office in Kingsville, ON is seeking a Treasury Analyst to work within the broader Finance team.  This role will be responsible for cash management, banking, confirmations, payments, reconciliations, accounting, and other back-office functions.  In addition, the Senior Treasury Analyst will be required to collaborate with business partners across Finance and other cross-functional teams to support various projects and initiatives.

Primary Responsibilities:

Prepare cash management reports and forecasting analyses, in collaboration with cross-functional teams Manage and maintain banking administration and evaluate new products and services Prepare and maintain complex journal entries across multiple entities Prepare outgoing payment requests, such as wire transfers, EFTs, ACH files, and government remittances Support the operational needs of the insurance program, A/P, and A/R Support the issuances of letters of credit and bank guarantees Manage and maintain ongoing cash reconciliations Manage and maintain trade capture activities including confirmation, netting, and settlement of loans, derivatives, and other key treasury transactions Assist with month-end close, reporting, and related activities Support efforts to implement process and control improvements Identify and resolve discrepancies across all related processes Comply with all internal controls and support ongoing audit requests Support management initiatives and perform ad hoc analyses

 

Position Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field 3+ years of experience in corporate treasury at a large multinational Solid understanding of Canadian GAAP as it relates to treasury activities Strong analytical, financial, and systems skills Strong written and verbal communication skills High attention to detail, organized, and professional demeanor Ability to concurrently undertake professional training, as required Ability to think critically, problem solve, and work autonomously Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
