Responsibilities
The Treasury Analyst is an entry-level position assigned to Treasury/Global Credit and is responsible for the preparation of various credit/A/R reports and other credit analyses including assessing customer credit risk. This role supports the monthly AR and bad debt reserve forecasting and sensitivity analysis and supports our business teams in understanding the key drivers for changes to the forecast. This role is also responsible for developing and maintaining reports in Power BI and participating in special projects as needed.
• As a member of the Working Capital Team, prepares monthly Accounts Receivable 24 month forecast and waterfall comparisons that is shared with business, accounting, and finance leadership to enable decisions for meeting annual cash flow goals. • Prepares quarterly bad debt reserve and monthly bad debt reserve forecast • Presents analysis package on AR forecast and Bad Debt for monthly Treasury Forecast and communicates key messages and drivers to Treasury Leadership team. • Supports AR forecasting model • Analyzes credit risk for assigned customers • Develops and maintains reports in Power BI • Other responsibilities as needed
Functional Skills and Capabilities
• Foundational knowledge and understanding of Financial Statements, Accounting and Accounts Receivable. • Familiarity with basic financial and working capital calculations. • Strong verbal and written communication / presentation skills. • Detail oriented with strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills • Productivity / Ongoing improvement mindset • High level of initiative and good judgement. • Proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) • A keen technical mindset with the ability to analyze systems and communicate complex information clearly and concisely
Qualifications
Experience / Education
• Bachelor’s degree required. Degree in Business, Finance or Accounting preferred • Experience with Microsoft applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) • Experience in developing and supporting data visualization reports using Power BI preferred • Prior experience in preparing and presenting financial reports preferred • Experience calculating working capital metrics preferred
