The Data, Markets, Corporate Functions IT team is looking for a senior application development manager and architect to led the Treasury and Lending IT development team. This unique role will oversee the global application teams for both Treasury and Lending businesses. This role has responsibility for the technical deliveries related to several major change initiatives including New Business Capabilities, Public Cloud Migration, Technical Modernization in addition to application BAU and support.
This role covers a broad scope of business functions across both the Treasury and Lending business areas. The Treasury business includes responsibility for a wide range of the front to back technology supporting State Street Global Treasury businesses including the Investment Portfolio, Liquidity, Asset Liability Management (ALM), Balance Sheet Management, and CCAR/Stress Testing. The Lending business includes responsibility for the technology supporting the bank’s corporate lending business from loan origination to servicing.
What you will be responsible for:
Management of a global team of software development and QA resources responsible for executing on a large multi-year book of work across multiple change programs
Driving change through collaboration, influence, and demonstration of POC’s
All aspects of the software development lifecycle, including design, coding, code review, integration testing, deployment, and ongoing support
Partnering with internal horizontal functions such as cloud platform engineering, architecture, and cyber to agree an approved modernization and technical implementation approach on new projects
Collaboration with business and IT leaders, and other stakeholders to establish data governance best practices and ensure data governance initiatives are aligned with business goals and regulatory requirements
Ownership of vendor management oversight from engagement through implementation for new software / existing vendor solutions
Implementation of industry best practices and improved team processes
Interaction with senior EVP & SVP leaders and external regulators to represent our application portfolio

Willingness to support 24 x 7 global management oversight
Education & Preferred Qualifications
BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent field
15+ years technical delivery experience within financial services
10+ years management experience leading large engineering teams
Architect level experience designing and implementing financial applications

Salary Range:
$140,000 - $222,500 AnnualThe range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
