Treasury Assistant is responsible for Check preparation and check releases, daily monitoring and preparation of Cash Position Report for Davao RF Accounts, Monitoring and replenishment of Revolving Funds, and served as Petty Cash Custodian.

Qualifications:

- Candidate must have a degree in Accounting or equivalent

- At least (1) year of experience in Accounting, Disbursement Processing, Preparation of Cash Position Report, Cashiering

Major Functions:

1. Check Payment Processing

1.1 Preparation of check voucher for DMCI PDI and ensure that payment request is approved and checks prepared are signed by authorized signatories before releasing of checks

1.2 Ensures that check released is funded

1.3 Releasing of Checks / Releases checks to suppliers on time and utilities provider

1.4 Safekeeping of unreleased checks

1.5 Tagging of Released Checks (D365 System)

1.6 Printing & Releasing of Checks through Business Banking -Online

1.7 Accuracy of CV transmittal/CV Transmittal of Released checks back to Head Office with OR (Attach APV Construction Package received from Accounting Department together with the OR & CV)

1.8 Details on Official Receipts received is accurately & completely filled up (Payee, TIN, business style, amount in words and in figures, proper breakdown of payments, ATP validity, etc)

2. Monitoring and replenishment of revolving funds for EWB and BPI

2.1 Ensures that revolving fund are replenished based on RF Policy.

3. Preparation and Submission of Daily Cash Position Report

3.1 To ensure availability of funds, NO report on returned check due to insufficient fund. Zero unaccounted of bank credits from fund replenishments and disbursements/bank debits

4. Other Tasks

4.1 Petty Cash Fund Custodian (Treasury and C&C)

4.2 Follow-up and remind employees for the liquidation of advances taken from Revolving Fund

4.3 Updating of bank records by routing documents to the authorized signatories required by the bank

4.4 Assist for department’s compliance if any on Periodic Audit conducted both by Internal and External Auditor

4.5 Other tasks that may assign from time to time

Candidate for this role will be assigned in Davao City.
