Treasury Coordinator

Note that the job advert will be removed on the indicated "end date" found on top of the advert. **What does the job involve?** Responsible for managing and optimizing treasury, cash management, and funding at subsidiary and joint venture levels. Relations to, agreements with and procurement of local financial services from banks, insurance companies and other relevant advisory institutions. Delivery of financial items to the financial statements and financial reporting with adequate internal control. You are utilizing your knowledge independently to solve highly complex tasks with a short to medium-term tactical impact/risk. You address key business challenges that align with Equinor's short and long-term strategy via providing specialist support to your team and others. You independently communicate within the immediate team, across other areas, and towards key stakeholders from partners or external parties. You resolve challenges, deliver improvements and contribute to shaping best practices. You promote change initiatives, demonstrate flexibility to adopt new highly complex activities/ways of working and advice others. You follow and comply with safety, ethics, and compliance requirements and align with leadership expectations and company values. **What will my tasks be?** Within this position, your key tasks will be to: + Develop and implement initiatives to optimize the company's treasury function, aligning with overall business objectives and financial goals. + Oversee cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, and working capital optimization to ensure the availability of funds for daily operations and strategic investments. + Oversee local treasury operations, including cash management, payment processing and local bank relationship management. Ensure efficient and effective treasury processes. + Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support strategic decision-making, evaluate investment opportunities and analyse the impact of treasury-related initiatives. + Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations, accounting standards, and internal policies. Stay updated on regulatory changes and implement necessary controls and reporting requirements. + Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as finance, accounting, legal, and executive teams, to provide treasury-related insights, support strategic initiatives, and communicate treasury-related matters effectively. + Prepare and review treasury-related reports, including cash flow statements, debt schedules and other treasury disclosures for internal and external stakeholders. + Identify opportunities for process improvement, implement best practices in treasury management, and stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance treasury operations and efficiency. + Execute funding and capital distributions to and from subsidiaries. + Account and report financial items. + Post internal and external treasury transactions. **Here's what we expect from you:** At Equinor, there are some overall qualities we regard as essential. And for this specific position, we are also looking for: + Bachelor's in administration, Accounting, Economics or related areas. + Post graduation will be a plus. + Understanding of oil & gas industry will be a plus. + Minimum of 7 years of professional experience. + Strong knowledge in cash flow management, knowledge of foreign exchange market, Central Bank rules and treasury daily transactions, cash planning and cash optimization. + Fluent English (good written and oral communication skills). + Be able to communicate requirements and show direction towards internal and external stakeholders. **What can we offer you?** We want you to have a rewarding and fulfilling work life.
