The selected colleague will work at an MUFG office or client sites four days per week and work remotely one day. A member of our recruitment team will provide more details. **Job Summary:** This function covers incumbents responsible for operations relating to capital markets activities. Day-to-day focus is on resolution of complex problems or transactions, where expertise is required to interpret against policies, guidelines, or processes. Role at this level usually has full ownership for one or more processes, reports, procedures, or products, and may also be considered analytical or procedural experts representing a unit or team on cross-function process or project deliverables. **Description:** + Oversee the Section’s day-to-day operational workflow ensuring that all required processing functions are completed within prescribed time frames and are in accordance with established departmental procedures. + Reconciliation & Reporting – Ensure all reconciliation events occur and are properly documented. + Staff and Performance Management – Assist Manager in the performance appraisal process. + Effectively time manage multiple priorities. + Possess sound analytical skills necessary for reviewing workflow deficiencies. + Maintain a thorough knowledge of the Foreign Exchange Best Practices. + Identify operational irregularities and implement measures to risk. + Maintain open and effective communication with front offices. + Assist management in any ad hoc projects. + Deliver business requirements including improved future state requirements which resolve existing pain points. + Study the functions of new system. Analyze fit and gap. Determine appropriate candidates for additional development by analyzing both cost and level of needs. + Confirm the design of the system. Review and update functional requirements documents for development items. + Promote operation efficiency improvement including promotion of straight through processing without customer service deterioration. + Design new risk resistant and efficient operation procedure along with new system. + Understand the Banks standard procedure and ensure the new procedure is in compliant with the standard procedure. + Prepare most secured and efficient workaround procedure for the requirements not fully supported by the system. + Coordinate resources to be trained and facilitate training. + Monitor the progress and quality of the training and ensure the on-time completion and readiness for testing and/or go-live. **Qualifications:** + Bachelor’s degree, plus further education is a plus but not required. + 3+ years in operation / operation planning. + 3+ years in Business Analysis / Project Management role + Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. + Detail years of work experience required and any specific skills, special aptitudes, or knowledge. + Competent to understand system functions and logics behind. + Proficient in mediation between IT and non-IT end users. + Ability to lead related parties with different interests to reasonable consensus. The typical base pay range for this role is between $87K - $113K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
