Where you fit in

 

Treasury Digital Transformation (TDT) is a relatively new function within Treasury Operations and Digitalization (TO&D). The other two functions reporting to TO&D is Back Office & Liquidity as well as Cash Management. TDT responsibility is to act as a catalyst and facilitating function for the digital transformation at Treasury globally. TDT task is to accelerate our digital transformation, enable a data mindset adopted for our processes and data analytics requirements.  

 

As part of this team, you will practically contribute the technology and data (r)evolution at Treasury. You will, with the help of colleagues globally, identify pain points, evaluate solutions, and enable implementation of new ways of working in digital processes and data analytics. You will contribute by building purpose-fit solutions in our systems, PowerBi, and other tools. You will have a direct impact on what, how and how fast we deliver on our transform targets. You will work in a forward leaning team and you will report to VP Treasury Operations and Digitalization.

What we do

 

Group Treasury is a global function within Group Finance. We support the Volvo Group in all countries with financial risk matters. We have Treasury offices in Gothenburg, Singapore, Beijing, Greensboro and Curitiba. 

 

The Group Treasury mission is to secure the Group’s payment capability and proactively manage financial risks. Responsibilities include funding, liquidity management, FX operations, capital structure, rating analysis, financial infrastructure, and adherence to Volvo Group Financial Risk Policy. We work closely with many stakeholders both within and outside the Volvo Group globally.

To thrive in this position you likely have these qualifications

   

University degree in data science or similar  Experience from practical data analytics in PowerBI or similar  Experience from data transformation, data cleaning, data modelling and automation of data processes Strong understanding and interest of data management and related tools Programming skills, cloud/SAAS technology experience Interest in financial markets, and curiosity about treasury operations  Ability to translate business requirements into Data/IT language, and vice versa Team player with good communication and networking skills Fluent, verbal as well as written, in English and Swedish, with ability to understand technical vocabulary used in data analytics

 

Meriting Qualifications

 

Knowledge of Wall Street Suite, OmniFi, SAP or similar TRM/ERP systems  Experience from Treasury activities Database modelling and structures
