Treasury & International Accounting Supervisor

Eaton’s Corporate Sector division is currently seeking a Treasury & International Accounting Supervisor.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $108749.97 - $159499.96 a year.

What you’ll do:

Position Overview:
This position supports Eaton’s consolidated financial reporting process. This position's main responsibility will be to oversee Eaton's Treasury accounting activities, functional currency assessment and legal entity simplification projects for the finance function. This position will collaborate on issues with global corporate functions such as Treasury, Tax, GFSS, and IT.  The supervisor will also be responsible for managing the lead analyst on the team.
Job Responsibilities:
•    Oversee Eaton's Treasury Center accounting. Role will collaborate with Global Controllers and the Treasury teams on all treasury accounting activity to provide accurate financial results.
•    Manage Lead Analyst who is responsible for various areas of Treasury Accounting including Debt reporting and treasury center accounting.
•    Functional currency assessments for new entities to ensure proper USGAAP accounting is applied.
•    Lead the finance team over legal entity simplification projects (tax driven projects); ensure proper USGAAP treatment of all entity eliminations.
•    Maintain legal entity organizational listing 
•    Actively participate in finance transformation and accounting centralization for Treasury Accounting areas
•    Support External Audit requests and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) documentation and testing for guarantor financial statement process.
•    Drive process improvement and efficiencies within team.
•    Preparation of accounting memos associated with tax and treasury driven transactions/projects.  
•    Create and foster a collaborative working environment with our business partners in tax, treasury, GFSS, and the business units.
 

Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications:
•    Bachelors degree from an accredited institution required.
•    Minimum of 5 years of accounting/finance experience.
•    Relocation assistance is not available for this position. Only candidates currently located within a 50 mile radius of Beachwood OH will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
•    Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future.
Preferred qualifications:
•    Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and/or Graduate degree in business, finance, or accounting from an accredited institution preferred. 
•    Managerial/Supervisory experience preferred.

•    Strong software and systems skills (Oracle, SAP, FCCS, Encore, Microsoft Office).

•    Ability to improve processes, both technical and analytical. 
•    Ability to implement new accounting policies or systems. 
•    Ability to adapt well to changes and/or drive changes
•    Ability to identify and solve problems. 
•    Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
•    Proficient use of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint applications
•    Ability to express the complex in simple, easy-to-grasp ways, verbally and in writing
•    Comfortable and confident in speaking with senior leadership. 
•    10% travel required
