Responsible for fostering a client-focused, sales-oriented attitude while partnering with Treasury Management Sales Officers for the purpose of providing treasury solutions to our business clients. The position plays a key role and works closely with the Treasury Management Sales Officers with sales call prep, strategic planning, presentations, RFPs (Response for Proposal), revenue reporting, pricing, client interaction, and the development of new opportunities and maintenance of existing relationships. Performs other projects and duties as assigned.
Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities:
· Maintain working knowledge of treasury products and pricing, allowing for the coordination and support of new business development.
· Works regularly and independently with business clients to provide information and/or assist with issues/new business.
· Independent focus of treasury sales opportunities and supporting all activities from sale through implementation.
· Assists with any documentation/process issues to facilitate new business.
· Project manager for treasury projects as assigned.
· Ability to write effective responses to proposals.
· Identifies cross sell opportunities and refers them to the appropriate team.
· Understands the client’s businesses in the market supported. Knows business partners well and works with them to grow the business.
· Participates on specific client sales calls to demonstrate technical skills, to know the client better, and to add value on the call.
· Makes pricing recommendations for new business requests and exception pricing requests. Seeks necessary approval if outside of treasury standard guidelines.
· Make sure administrative duties are followed as required to support the above effort; includes pipeline, client plans, call reports, XAA (analysis), CRM, etc.
· Overnight travel as required.

Industry and Work Experience:
· Minimum 2 years in financial services, business, or treasury position required.
· Treasury management experience preferred.
· Minimum 2 years of operational and sales experience required.
· Minimum 2 years experience of internal and/or external client interaction required.
Academic:
· High school diploma or GED required.
· Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field preferred.
· Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) preferred.
