This is a high-visibility position for someone who can envision the future of banking and payments as well as challenge themselves professionally as part of the journey. We are looking for a talented individual who will be able to define the problem(s) we are trying to solve, the vision and the product strategy. The Treasury Manager will identify use cases based on research and data analysis, and deliver banking, payment, and reporting products with global cross-organizational business impact from initiation through to delivery. They continuously look around the corner for more optimal and innovative ways to make payments, seek simplification and are able to make trade-offs between business opportunities, time, resources and features. This person is capable of working independently, working under ambiguity and conflicting priorities. They deliver through positive influence and alignment with stakeholders and leadership to get things done. The Product Manager drives clarity even under the most ambiguous circumstances. They work closely and effectively with cross-functional product (tech and non-tech), engineering, business, internal treasury, accounting and operations teams on identifying and implementing new payment products. This individual utilizes their deep functional and technical understanding of payments to ensure that organizational goals, system scalability and customer needs are all met. The ideal candidate will also have superior analytical abilities and a track record of finding practical, simple and creative solutions for complicated problems without sacrificing quality or core functionality. Key job responsibilities Key job responsibilities - Support Amazon’s new business initiatives, global expansions, and product implementation in new and existing markets for various Amazon businesses by leading overall project life cycle of scoping, documentation, and implementation on behalf of Treasury. - Identify new payment opportunities that align with the growth and needs of our businesses and payees, sellers, and which support company wide goals. - Lead the roadmap planning of product features with multiple internal teams, including fintech, payments, product teams as well as banks. Balancing short-term delivery with long-term strategic investments aligned with business objectives. - Serve as a subject matter expert on global cash management, influencing senior stakeholders and advocating for best practices, and develop strategic relationships with your business partners to help influence the right decisions - Design reporting packages related to project status, banking partner SLAs, and KPI metrics providing detailed visibility into your projects. - Developing mechanisms and metrics that clearly measure success - Demonstrate strong communication skills for executive-level reporting and effective stakeholder engagement. Basic Qualifications - 4+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience - 4+ years of Treasury or corporate banking experience in cash management or payments. With Key focus on product, program, or project management, while leading or influencing cross-functional teams in delivering a major new products or service. Preferred Qualifications - Experience delivering results for large, cross-functional initiatives/projects - Experience in solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) - Experience in building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making - Experience with cash pooling, netting, global clearing systems, APIs, SWIFT, and banking data feeds Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $85,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
