Treasury Manager

Responsibilities: Manage the corporation’s Treasury Department, which is responsible for cash/treasury operations, short- and long-term loan activity, cash flow, and bond sales.  Monitor compliance with treasury department goals.  Create, maintain, and update the corporation’s treasury operational policies, practices, and processes as they relate to Cash Management initiatives, bank relationships, and day-to-day treasury operations.  Provide control, accuracy, continuity, enhancements, and compliance regarding the corporation’s issuance of corporate bond certificates, payments, receivables, customer statements, tax payments, and reconciliations. All duties should be performed in accordance with governmental, regulatory, and company policies.

What You’ll Do

Manage the corporation’s cash inflows, outflows, float, collections, availability, and short—and long-term loans, developing strategies to optimize the company's cash position. Create, maintain, and update the corporation’s treasury operational policies, practices, and processes as they relate to Cash Management initiatives. Develop and maintain banking relationships for Cash Management, reviewing rates, fees, and new products with banking partners. Provide control, accuracy, continuity, enhancements, and compliance regarding the corporation’s issuance of corporate bond certificates, payments, receivables, and customer statements. File yearly bond prospectus Direct the business processes and practices as they relate to Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Depository Accounting, Notes Payable, Bond Program, and corporate Record Retention by setting goals and time frames for cut-offs. Continually evaluate the issuance and integrity of corporate payments issued, customer statements, bond certificates, 1099 reporting, and interest/notes payable. Evaluate and upgrade software products, services, technologies, and systems used for treasury functions to meet business needs. Monitor the compliance of reimbursement policies and internal controls and manage a self-inspection process Automate processes, build in internal controls, establish the security of payment issuance, and test periodically

Qualifications 

B.S. degree in Accounting or Finance - required Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) credentials preferred Series 63 license – State of Missouri - required or obtained
