Treasury Manager

Job Summary

The Treasury Manager will be responsible for working with key leaders and assisting with cash forecasting and cash management, working capital management, foreign exchange hedging, ensuring investment and debt covenant compliance, completing key corporate finance reporting deliverables, improving and updating policy and procedures, and delivering on departmental/corporate goals. This visible position will partner closely with accounting, tax, legal, financial planning, regional leadership and other corporate departments in ensuring overall corporate finance objectives are met.

 

Essential Functions

·       Responsible for managing the treasury and banking activities of the global organization with focus in North America and oversight of the rest of the globe.

·       Responsible for managing all aspects of cash flows and liquidity, including inter-company funding and repatriation strategies.

·       Manage a team of three analysts, providing guidance on day-to-day activities and strategic priorities.

·       Identifies areas for improvement and participates in the strategic planning for the global treasury function.

·       Partner with banks regarding required documents to open, maintain, and close bank accounts and obtain appropriate approvals.

·       Keeps current with market trends and demands. Evaluate and implement new banking products and services as needed.

·       Support Treasury Management System implementation to optimize efficiencies.

·       Support derivatives and hedging program.

·       Identifies areas for improvement and participates in the strategic planning for the global treasury function.

·       Responsible for understanding and complying with all regulation relating to job duties.

·       Assist with other activities such as Internal & External Audit requests, creating & updating department policies and procedures, support new business expansion

·       Other projects /duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

Education and Experience

·       Bachelors in Business, Finance, Accounting or equivalent experience. 

·       5+ years’ experience in a corporate treasury function with domestic and international operations

·       Knowledge of treasury operations, risk management, banking industries and payment networks

·       Supervisory experience leading teams and projects.

·       Must be highly organized, detail oriented, with strong problem-solving skills.

·       Strong communication skills and comfortable interacting with internal and external parties

·       Ability to work independently and as part of a team

·       Advanced MS Excel skills required
