Treasury Manager
Description We are offering a contract for a Treasury Manager position in Austin, Texas. This role falls within the finance industry and involves managing equity programs, coordinating with vendors, ensuring regulatory compliance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Responsibilities: • Oversee and manage employee equity programs such as stock options, restricted stock awards (RSAs), and restricted stock units (RSUs) • Maintain and reconcile accurate equity data, track cash receipts from equity transactions, and initiate necessary wire transfers and journal entries • Provide clear guidance to employees regarding equity plans, vesting schedules, and transaction processes • Ensure accurate records of equity transactions in alignment with accounting, legal, and payroll teams • Serve as the main point of contact for third-party equity administrators, transfer agents, and brokerage firms • Oversee vendor contracts and work closely with vendors to streamline and enhance equity program processes • Manage third-party equity management systems and ensure their functionalities and updates align with organizational needs • Ensure adherence to federal, state, and international regulations, including SEC filings, Form 3921, and tax reporting • Assist in preparing the annual Proxy Statement and Compensation Discussion & Analysis (CD& A) • Provide necessary documentation and support for internal and external audits related to equity programs • Generate detailed equity activity reports and assist in accounting for stock-based compensation • Collaborate with finance and payroll teams to ensure accurate tax withholding and reporting for equity transactions • Work closely with HR, Finance, and Legal teams to ensure equity program goals align with the broader organizational strategy. Requirements • Applicant must possess a minimum of 7 years of experience in a treasury or related financial role. • Mastery of Accounting Functions is mandatory for this role. • Proficiency in Equity Accounting is a must-have skill. • The candidate should have a substantial understanding and experience with Equity Issuance. • The applicant must have hands-on experience with Equity Options. • Vendor Management skills are crucial for the successful execution of this role. • The candidate should be adept at Account Reconciliation.
