Job DescriptionTreasury professional within Visa Global Treasury Settlement supporting Treasury activities in the Latin American and Caribbean (LAC) region. Daily support of client settlement onboarding activities, including implementation of new services in the LAC region, serving as first point-of-contact with internal and external stakeholders. Reports to the Director, LAC, and NA Treasury.
Essential Functions:
Manage complex daily regional settlement client onboarding activities for International and Domestic settlement services in LAC regionReviews, validates, and processes new and modified funds transfer arrangements within agreed service levels, ensuring accuracy, with the ability to keep all stakeholders informed of progress and prioritize own workPro-actively liaise with external parties to support the safe execution of funds transfers Obtains necessary information from clients in partnership with Client Services related to DDA confirmations, RMA, and bilateral agreementsCoordinates timely settlements go-live for modifications and new client setups with Core & Config Management and Global Treasury Settlement OpsSupports Treasury management in cross-functional projects with Client Services, Country Management, Rules Management, Licensing, and others Provides consulting services related to daily client onboarding activities to clients and internal Visa stakeholders such as Client Services, Implementations and Core & Config ManagementCollaborates with Global Treasury Settlement Recon on investigating and resolving settlement issues resulting from setup client challenges in LAC region (account closures, manual payments, prefunding)Prepare and maintain tracking logs of issues and/or other daily-related work, identifying and assigning action itemsLead settlement and corporate bank account management: opening, closing, maintenance and KYC activities in LAC region with best practices and procedures Investigates and reports findings on Treasury incidents related to onboarding for International and Domestic settlement services in LAC regionProvide support for critical production processes and manage issues as they arise Assists with Treasury Settlement metrics and initiatives as required, DNSSP access approverDemonstrate an appropriate sense of urgency in responding to settlement production questions or incidents, including urgent need to respond to all aspects of outstanding payments i.e., account closure, sanctions, mandates, etc. Evaluate and make recommendations for best practices and improvements to any aspect of the operational processes supporting TreasuryExhibit the ability to collaborate, establish and maintain relationships with cross-functional teams, clients, settlement banks or agents, other service providers across different cultures.Establish credibility with stakeholders and navigate often complex or ambiguous subjects with ease and diplomacy.Focus on continuous improvement by participating in and support strategic change management projects for the Treasury Settlement area.Participate in efforts to document processes, policies, operating procedures, system guides, forms and other documentation as needed.Maintain changes to settlement arrangement guides, publications, and related client settlement information, informing relevant parties of changes and updates.Provide training session to internal organizations regarding the subject of cross-border & domestic settlement arrangements, as required.Review and analyze data as it relates to mandates and changes from settlement banks and internal processesThis is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

5 years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 2 years of relevant work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters/MBA/JD/MD) or 0 years relevant work experience with a PhDGlobal treasury settlement experience with payments, corporate treasury, banking wire room operationsManagement of operational or technical teamsProject management experienceBachelors’ degree requiredSpanish and Portuguese preferredPreferred Experience:

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 124,600.00 to 180,650.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
