"This role offers a great opportunity to advance your Finance career path within our organization" --Controller Position Overview & Responsibilities: The Treasury Manager will be a key contributor to the accounting team, supporting the team with breadth and depth of experience working across the accounting, finance and treasury processes and business partnering. The Treasury Manager will be responsible for directly supervising accounts payable and receivables as well as supporting the Controller and Treasurer with treasury functions such as financial risk management, capital planning and credit management. This role will also provide SME level support and consulting to process improvement projects and system implementations. The Treasury Manager will support the Controller & Treasurer with risk management of interest rates, credit, financing and insurance. Major Areas of Accountability: GENERAL ACCOUNTING + Responsibility includes the preparation of schedules and applications for insurance renewals and placement as well as assistance with claims processing + Leading the Accounts Payable and Receivables team to drive efficient and effective transaction processing + Accounting for debt and interest + Maintaining positive working relationships with the companies financing partners and bank group + Executing and monitoring cash management for daily funding needs + Maintaining records for distributions and changes of shareholders/owners + Tracking cash flows and developing/maintaining cash forecast + Monitoring compliance with bank covenants + Weekly preparation and distribution of the Treasury Report and interest rate hedge position + Researching and analyzing approaches to financing and hedging strategies + Through on-going collaboration with department leaders, clearly communicating the financing processes, and trends that may assist in key decision making + Review and analysis of capital expenditures PROJECTS + Participate in or lead special projects as assigned. Projects may include but are not limited to testing system implementations and system upgrades, developing ad hoc reports, and process improvement initiatives. Education, Training and Experience Requirements: + Minimum formal education required: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with at least 4 years of experience in a Treasury-related capacity. + Preferably 5-10 years of accounting/treasury/finance experience in a public and/or private for-profit organization. Responsible for maintaining a high level of confidentiality. Supervision of Others: Direct Reports: Team of 3 - 4 as well as interns depending on needs of the business.
