The Treasury Operations Collateral Sr Analyst provides analysis, support on key projects, automation, scalability and/or cross-functional strategic initiatives around collateral.
Job Description
Summary:
The Treasury Operations Collateral Sr Analyst provides financial and strategic analysis, support of projects to scale processes and technology for collateral. Project support will range from ensuring scope and requirements are clearly defined, traceable, tracking back to the business case, project status reporting, data analysis, mapping of the current and future state environment, identifying improvement opportunities, and managing various aspects of the projects as assigned.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Report and analyze collateral, consisting of fixed income (Treasuries, MBS, ABS, Corporate Bonds) and loans, ensuring optimization and standards.
Analyze and scale process flows for collateralization of deposits, FHLB/FRB pledging, Derivatives, Repo (bilateral, cleared and Tri-Party).
Lead engagement of collateral solution software and testing
Lead automation, process development and best practices across the collateral team to scale collateral support.
Partner with business segments on enhanced reporting, and best practices.
Assist in the development of reference material and resource materials in support of work product.
Review and interpret terms of ISDA agreement and associate Credit Support Annex ensuring collateral terms are properly interpreted and documented in system.
Perform other duties as assigned.
This is a hybrid role that will be located at 7 Easton Oval, Columbus, Ohio
Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
3+ years of experience with fixed income, capital markets, pledging or collateral.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skillset
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree
Strong knowledge of pledging, collateralized deposits, Margin (Initial and Variation Margin)
Experience with BNY-BDC, BNY-Access Edge, Bloomberg, Transcend, TPG or other fixed income software, SQL, Python, R
Strong process mapping skills with control mindset
Strong leadership, communication (written and verbal), skills with self-confidence to present to senior and executive leadership.
Self motivated and directed, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously Logical problem solver, ability to anticipate next steps and potential road blocks.
