Purpose:

Join Athene's growing Treasury team – an exciting and dynamic team! The Senior Financial Analyst will provide support to both the Head of Capital Markets - AGM and AHL, and the COO of AGM Treasury. An integral member of the Treasury team in providing accurate and timely information, management reporting, operational support, and analytic controls to support management decision making. The Treasury department also interacts with several stakeholders on initiatives that are highly visible to our business.


Accountabilities:

Manage complex transactions or processes among multiple stakeholdersPlay an active role in the deal process, including diligence, documentation, and executionTimely and accurate preparation of all internal and external reporting, including accurate reporting in Treasury systemsResearch and perform peer analysis on insurance companies with various metrics to assist in management discussionsEffectively communicate complex financial concepts into reports and presentations for key stakeholders and senior managementSupport ad-hoc cross functional projects such as capital strategy, policy and procedure documentation and data visualizationDevelop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI/Tableau and Excel to deliver actionable insights; strong proficiency in these tools, with experience in SQL and Python for data analysis considered a plus.Perform other special projects as needed


Qualifications and Experience:

5+ years of progressively responsible and related professional experience requiredThe ideal candidate will be familiar with capital structure and allocation strategies, have experience with debt capital markets and other financing activities, and can assess various capital markets proposals for alignment with broader corporate initiativesStrong communicator with project management capabilities; able to influence stakeholders, manage multiple priorities, and drive execution. Prior experience in a COO office, corporate strategy, or internal consulting team preferredExceptional attention to detail, with strong organizational and critical thinking skills; ability to create executive-level presentationsBrings a transformation-oriented mindset, with a focus on improving processes, enabling people, and delivering scalable, sustainable solutionsExperience with Kyriba or similar treasury management systems is highly desiredExcel and PowerPoint proficiency requiredDesired skills include: customer service orientation, demonstrated ability to be flexible and change, demonstrated track record of analytical & conceptual thinking, enjoys working in a team environmentBachelor’s Degree in finance, accounting, management, or economics or equivalent work experience is required


$111,040.00 - $166,560.00 USD Annual


Annual Salary for this role is market competitive.  Actual salary for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.  Depending on the role, a discretionary bonus plan or variable sales incentive may be included.
