Overview
Responsible for providing chemical dependency education and group therapy, managing a case load, ensuring adherence to conditions of the Department of Rehabilitation and Corrections and the Harbor Light Complex.
Tuesday - Saturday work schedule. Rate of pay is $21.00/hr
CDCA or higher required.
Responsibilities
+ Screening and assessment interview of all clients upon intake, using program approved screening and assessment instruments.
+ preparation of CCIS intake report for each new client.
+ supervise residents on assigned caseload, meeting as often with them as needed and required.
+ facilitate group therapy
+ didactic presentations as assigned.
+ contribute to discharge plans and reports.
+ be knowledgeable of and assist with Thinking for a Change program as needed.
+ participate in the family programs.
+ other duties as assigned by supervisor, associate director of corrections, director of corrections or the executive director.
Qualifications
+ prior experience in community based treatment
+ ability to handle resident populations
+ knowledge of chemical dependency treatment and recovery
+ must be licensed under the Ohio Chemical Dependency Professionals Board (at minimum a CDCA)
