Responsible for providing chemical dependency education and group therapy, managing a case load, ensuring adherence to conditions of the Department of Rehabilitation and Corrections and the Harbor Light Complex.

 

Tuesday - Saturday work schedule. Rate of pay is $21.00/hr

 

CDCA or higher required.

Responsibilities Screening and assessment interview of all clients upon intake, using program approved screening and assessment instruments.preparation of CCIS intake report for each new client.supervise residents on assigned caseload, meeting as often with them as needed and required.facilitate group therapydidactic presentations as assigned.contribute to discharge plans and reports.be knowledgeable of and assist with Thinking for a Change program as needed.participate in the family programs.other duties as assigned by supervisor, associate director of corrections, director of corrections or the executive director. Qualifications prior experience in community based treatment ability to handle resident populationsknowledge of chemical dependency treatment and recoverymust be licensed under the Ohio Chemical Dependency Professionals Board (at minimum a CDCA)
