Job Duties Provide expert level tree trimming services and inspections to client properties. Operate as an active crew member with supporting ground crew and crew leader. Responsible for climbing, pruning, and removing trees as per work specifications. Perform required general maintenance and daily inspection of equipment. Removal or trimming of trees and brush encroaching onto utility or transportation rights of ways. Properly maintain, prepare, and operate all tools and equipment including chainsaws, chippers, aerial lifts and more. Manage customer service expectations, safely lead jobsite and crew operations. Abide by Davey and industry safety policies and procedures. Qualifications Have a valid Utility Tree Trimmer/Certified Utility Arborist ticket. 3 years experience performing pruning and removals from rope and saddle, and aerial lift. Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. Advanced chainsaw and chipper operation. Strong tree and shrub identification skills. Valid provincial driver’s license. Licensed to drive a 5-ton vehicle and air brake endorsement considered an asset. Ability to work safely as part of a team and possess the willingness to learn and progress.
