 Job Summary

Performs duties under the direction and supervision of the Advanced Practice Provider or Registered Nurse at The Link. Responsible for providing high quality patient care according to established standards of performance, the philosophy and objectives of Avera McKennan Hospital. Responsible for phlebotomy, collecting diagnostic data, and assisting nursing personnel in providing patient care in their assigned areas.

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or general education (GED) required. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Familiar with various EMS training techniques preferred. On the job training provided. Medical terminology knowledge preferred.

Certification, Licensure, and/or Registrations 

Med Aide Certification preferred. This position requires a valid driver’s license and that the employee is insurable by the Avera Health automobile liability insurance carrier.

Work Schedule

7:00am-7:00pm, e/3 wknd/hol; 72hrs/2wks

Pay

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.  

$19.00 - $25.25 per hour
