Description We are searching for a meticulous and experienced Trial Attorney to join our legal team. The role is based in Stockton, California, United States, and is a permanent position. The primary function of the role is to manage a multitude of tasks and maintain a high level of organization while dealing with the demands of a busy law practice. Responsibilities: • Perform proofreading and error correction of various legal documents, including letters and pleadings • Effectively manage and prioritize a large volume of tasks, while maintaining keen attention to detail • Apply knowledge of family law disclosures, service of process, and deadline calculations, along with the ability to learn and apply new rules • Communicate effectively, verbally with clients and team members • Exhibit an understanding of computer systems and demonstrate adaptability in learning to use new programs • Complete family law, civil, and other California Judicial Council Forms with minimal assistance using the CEB Essential Forms program • Utilize the San Joaquin County Superior Court e-filing system • Maintain a high level of proficiency with Vision SQL/Compulaw/Aderant calendaring software and Microsoft Office 365, including advanced features of the Office programs. Requirements • Must have a proficient understanding and experience with 3M • Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat is required • Experience with Case Management Software is essential • Familiarity with Conveyancer software is a prerequisite • Knowledge and experience in Document Management is necessary • Must have experience in Briefing • A background in Civil Litigation is required • Experience in Claim Administration is needed • Complaint Handling skills are essential • Must have knowledge in Consumer Electronics • Previous Court Appearances experience is required • Criminal Litigation experience is a necessity • Requires experience in Litigation Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
