JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
The Education and Outreach Coordinator will work as part of the Tribal Family Services team to develop and execute educational and outreach opportunities for Tribal members and their families. This role involves coordinating and/or facilitating educational activities, engaging with the community members through events, and developing outreach materials to promote the department's initiatives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned)
This role involves coordinating and/or facilitating educational activities, engaging with the community members through events. Research and develop outreach and prevention campaigns for various demographics within the Native American community. Write and design promotional materials such as brochures and flyers to advertise and promote the department's initiatives. Compile estimates for outreach supplies in accordance with grant budgets. Order educational supplies and promotional materials for events while adhering to budget and inventory policies. Assist with scheduling and attending outreach activities, both in-house and with network providers. Create activity reports and other required documents for program planning and execution. Cultivate relationships with tribal administration and service providers for outreach programming. Perform other duties as assigned to support the Program Director and staff.
