GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

This position is responsible for leading and directing the daily operations in the trim room to ensure the production of Safe, Quality Food.

Position is considered “safety sensitive” which requires the passing of an independently administered drug screen.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS/DUTIES OF THE POSITION:

Conduct daily required inspection to ensure equipment and environment is in safe operating conduction Review production schedule and planned sequence prior to start-up Issue schedules to cutter operators and assign trim line sequencing Anticipate and request raw materials to fulfill schedule attainment Calculate, monitor, and maintain basket requirement and inventory by product Ensure paperwork  is complete, correct, and timely Track schedule sequence and production Achieve schedule attainment within prescribed standards Monitor breaks and lunches Train employees to meet operating procedures Conduct tailgates and lead exercise routines at shift start each day Any and all other duties assigned by your Supervisor
