TriNova - Outside Sales Account Manager

TriNova Inc., a manufacturer's representative partner of Endress+Hauser, is looking for an Outside Sales Account Manager for their Memphis, TN territory. This is a travel heavy position and included the Northern Mississippi area as well as the East Arkansas area. As an Outside Sales Account Manager, you will promote and sell the products and services currently represented by TriNova. You will be a consulting business partner to customers to determine current and future needs. In this position, you will help customers by providing the correct solutions to their problems; be a problem-solver, a trusted advisor, and a technical expert in applying our products; and being a liaison between the customer and the company. Moreover, you will build relationships and rapport with customers and also understand the customer's processes.

Role + Responsibilities 

Call on end user representatives such as engineers or other professional and technical personnel at commercial, industrial, and other establishments to provide solutions to customers and act as a trusted advisor in applying our products to their application needsReview specifications, application requirements, and other customer documents to develop and prepare cost estimates, and benefits, for the client's use of proposed equipment or servicesPrepare or propose changes in equipment, processes, or use of materials or services which would result in cost reduction or improvement in operationsProvide technical support to customers relating to use, operation, and maintenance of equipmentProvide technology and product overviews/seminars to groupsDevelop and grow a territory by generating product sales, service & trainingPrepare and provide forecast, targets, plans and sales reports as needed

Qualification + Profile 

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering or related fieldOR Minimum 3-5 years of proven outside sales experience OR a combination of education and experienceHave a good understanding of general process operations (recognize limitations of technologies, recognize competitive limitations, and recognize potential problems at a customer’s plant)Strong organization, presentation, apptitude, product knowledge, prioritization, and time management skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Work, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)Excellent interpersonal skills including written and verbal communication, relationship building, and organization.Ability to achieve technical proficiency in flow, level, pressure, and analytical field instrumentation salesTravel required
