Troy, OH 3rd Shift Maint Tech $30.90 plus $2 shift diff

Hours:  40-48hrs weekly.  M-Th 8pm – 6:30am, Fridays are based on workload and production support needs.

Pay: $30.90 + $2 shift differential.

 

 

 

SUMMARY OF POSITION

Diagnose and repair all electrical and mechanical problems in assigned area and to have the flexibility to help in other areas of the plant when required. Position may require the scheduling of job orders. Other duties assigned by department manager as needed. Must successfully acquire a Forklift Operation Certificate through a training course. Must be willing to travel to other locations as necessary, by various modes of transportation including air.

· Probable clothing spoilage due to nature of work.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

· Diagnose and repair all electrical and mechanical problems in assigned area.

· Schedule job orders.

· Comply with safety, quality, and production requirements and procedures.

· Regular/dependable attendance required.

· Flexibility of work hours including overtime to get production back in operation.

· Able to work with and around moving equipment.

· Work with ladders and verti-lifts.

· Must maintain a PIV license.

 

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

· Ability to rotate to other positions as needed.

· Perform Total Productive Maintenance duties.

· Learns and performs repetitive job tasks.

· Other duties may be assigned by department manager.

 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

· High School Diploma or GED preferred.

· Manufacturing-related experience is preferred.

· Job specific experience preferred.

 

SKILLS & TALENT

· Detailed knowledge of area and equipment required.

· Read and interpret blueprints and maintenance instructions.

· Read and interpret documents, safety rules, and procedure manuals.

· Electrical Skills (110V – 480V); troubleshooting, installation, PLC’s.

· Welding, Motor Controls and Pneumatics/Hydraulics.

PHYSICAL SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

· Lift up to 100 lbs. at waist level on an occasional basis. Up to 40 lbs. at shoulder level and above head on an occasional basis when handling pr9oducts. Ab8ility to lift and carry 80 lbs. On an occasional basis.

· Push or pull with up to 80 lbs. of force on an occasional basis when moving products.

· Display average coordination with each hand on a continuous basis while performing job tasks.

· Perform elevated work on an occasional basis when handling products.

· Stoop, kneel or squat on an occasional basis when handling products.

· Reach forward and to the side on a frequent basis when handling products.

· Stand and walk on a continuous basis during the course of each shift.

· This job requires the use of close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and depth vision.

· Able to perform repetitive tasks up to 10 hours per day
