Position Summary
This position is responsible for troubleshooting and performing truck and/or bus repair jobs within a shop environment.
Position Duties/ResponsibilitiesPerforms scheduled services and repairs on truck or buses (engines, drivetrain, chassis, electrical systems) in the shop using proper tools and proceduresEnsure all documentation is completed accurately and efficiently; work orders, service reports, allocation of time, and tracking partsMaintain customer satisfaction by ensuring customer needs and deadlines are metComplete all scheduled repairs in a safe and efficient mannerFollow all safety and contamination control rules and regulationsAdheres to all safety rules and maintains quality housekeeping in work areaMaintain company issued equipment.Supervisory Responsibilities:

Required:
High School diploma or GED or equivalent work experience3 years or more of mechanical experience with diesel engines and/or in a position with a working knowledge of hydraulics, electrical systems, and drivetrain repairsPreferred:
5 years or more experience with diesel engines (Caterpillar or Cummins is a plus) and/or in a position with a working knowledge of hydraulics, electrical systems, and drivetrain repairsMedium Duty Cummins Engine CertificationKnowledge, Skills, And Abilities
