There are two Truck Driver categories on the Eagle contract. They include:

TRUCKDRIVER, HEAVY TRUCK: Straight truck, over 4 tons, usually 10 wheels.

TRUCKDRIVER, TRACTOR-TRAILER: A trailer having a set or several sets of wheels at the rear only, with the forward portion being supported by the truck tractor or towing vehicle.

Responsibilities

The Truck Driver drives a truck to transport materials, merchandise, equipment, or workers between various types of establishments.

Manufacturing plants, freight depots, warehouses, wholesale and retail establishments, or between retail establishments and customers’ houses or places of business.

This driver may also load or unload truck with or without helpers, make minor mechanical repairs, and keep truck in good working order.

Qualifications

Truck Driver, Heavy: Commercial Driver’s License.

4+ years truck driving experience.

Ability to pass Pre-Employment Drug Test and Background Screening.

Valid Driver’s License.

High School Diploma / GED.

Ability to receive a favorable TIER-1 investigation result and obtain a CAC.

Physical requirements include (but are not limited to) the ability to lift 60 pounds, pushing, pulling, carrying, stooping, bending, squatting, and reaching.

Desired Qualifications:

Truck Driver, Tractor-Trailer: Commercial Driver’s License Preferred.

Knowledgeable in U.S. Army maintenance procedures.

U.S. Army 88M series MOS qualification or civilian equivalent.

Physical Demands:

Work environment includes periodic overtime, exposure to heat, dust, cold, and inclement weather conditions.
