We are looking for an experienced Delivery truck driver, a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is NOT required. This position is based in Manassas, VA. Requirements + Able to pass pre-employment drug test. NOTE: This position is subject to federal regulations for drug/alcohol testing, as well as company policy. + Satisfactory driving record (must be able to be underwritten by insurer and meet company requirements) + Satisfactory DOT background check. + Able to assist with loading and unloading materials by hand, as needed. + Ability to drive throughout Maryland, DC, Virginia. + Strong knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations. + Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions, etc.) Responsibilities + Able to meet delivery schedules while safely operating assigned CMV. + Documents hours of service (HOS) as required by federal and state law, as well as company policy + Ensures proper handling and completion of paperwork (bills of lading, receipts, etc.) + Inspects and reports equipment defects; drives safely to prevent accidents and injuries. + Ensures proper securement of loads. + May assist with unloading/loading materials. + Performs other tasks and duties as assigned, including training others.
