**Waste Connections** has an immediate opening for a **CDL Truck Driver** to join the team in **Somerset, KY.** Our **CDL Driver** will operate a garbage truck on a specified route. (Overtime is time and a half after 40 hrs) **Schedule:** 5:30am start time averaging approximately 10 hours per day. Monday-Friday with occasional Saturdays. **Benefits:** We offer excellent benefits including: medical, dental, vision, flexible spending account, long term & short term disability, life insurance, 401(K), and more. **Duties & Responsibilities:** + Maintain safe and efficient operations of solid waste collection truck. + Dump all containers and leave the customer’s location clean and free of debris. + Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and complete daily work sheet. + Follows route assignments and completes all documentation when checking in at end of the day. + Participate in all scheduled training, briefings, and meetings as required. **Job Requirements –** + Valid Class B CDL with air brakes endorsement as a minimum. + Clean Driving Record. + Ability to lift at least 50lbs repeatedly. + Ability to work outside in all weather conditions. _Waste Connections is an equal opportunity employer.
