As a member of the Materials, the Truck Driver responsible for safely operating a Lear - branded truck, typically a commercial vehicle like a tractor-trailer, to deliver products to specified destinations on time, adhering to all federal and state regulations, while maintaining the vehicle in good condition and providing excellent customer service during deliveries

 

The Role:

Your work will include, but not be limited to:

Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, ensuring the safety of both the driver and other road users. Interact with customers and always maintain a professional demeanor. Always maintain a clean and organized vehicle, adhering to company policies and regulations. Keep accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and any issues that may arise during transportation. Safely driving the truck to designated delivery locations and unloading cargo according to customer requirements. Properly securing all cargo on the truck to prevent damage during transport. Following assigned delivery routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries.

 

Your Qualifications:

Valid Class A CDL Must have 1 year of OTR truck driving experience (6 months in the last year) OR 9 months OTR experience with a truck driving school Compliance with all DOT Driver Qualifications Clean driving record for three years. Updated medical card Must pass drug test Health & safety knowledge Good communication and organizational skills
