As our HR Truck Driver, you’ll be the face of our trusted business, at the heart of your community and connecting businesses with their customers, and communities with each other day-in, day-out. You might not be working from home, but you’ll be on the road as a staple of your community, and it doesn’t get better than that!Offered initially on a 12 month fixed term basis, you will be working on our day shift roster, a pattern that will see you starting anywhere between 3.15am - 1.30pm Monday to Friday. As such flexibility is required! There is some weekend overtime work offered and pay rates, penalty rates and tonnage allowances are offered. This role attracts full entitlements.
About you You’re friendly, enthusiastic and reliable, and love autonomy just as much as interacting with others and being a team player. You’re passionate about making a difference in the community.
You’ll also need to Hold a relevant HR and forklift license Be safety-focused and understand the importance of chain of responsibility Have a customer-centric mindset and effective communication skills You will need to meet our safe working load limit of weighing 120kgs or less Be fit enough to load and unload parcels of all different shapes, sizes and weights - 16kg lifting capacity minimumBe prepared to undergo a driving assessment, pre-employment medical including drug/alcohol screening and national criminal history checks.
