Job Summary
Responsible for maintaining company's truck, as well as loading, unloading, picking up, and delivering of material
Essential FunctionsResponsible for conducting daily inspections of trucks in the Company fleet prior to operating any vehicle to ensure that vehicle safety is maximized at all times during use. Record any problems with the vehicle and report them to the Warehouse Supervisor. Operate the Company vehicle with strict adherence to all rules of the road & with safety as the #1 priority. Pick up materials, supplies, and/or equipment for transport & delivery to other ZOLL locations. Assist in loading all material, supplies, and equipment scheduled for transport in a timely matter. Unload the truck’s cargo to the intended destination and deliver to its final recipients. Complete all paperwork as required to do so in the handling, transport, and delivery of cargo. Maintain any & all equipment maintenance logs as directed to do so At the end of every work shift, broom clean the truck’s trailer and clean the truck’s cab. Provide backup/support to the warehouse material handlers.
Required/Preferred Education and ExperienceHigh School Diploma Or equivalent. required Two to four years’ experience in related position desirable, but not required. preferred and Any similar combination of education and experience required
Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesHave a valid state driver’s license. (CDL desirable, but not required) Well organized, motivated and ability to work independently. Ability to pay attention to detail.
Physical DemandsAbility to lift 50 lbs.
