Summary: The Craft- Truck Driver is responsible for safely and efficiently operating and driving trucks/vehicles to support operations at the project site. Requirements: + Operates vehicles and/or equipment in a safe and responsible manner. + Loads and unloads truck to and from job site, may involve heavy lifting. + Inspects site to ensure safe environment to load and unload. + Compliant with site policies and safety procedures. + Reports any accidents and/or injuries immediately. + For DOT drivers: + Performs all required DOT inspections and complies with other regulatory DOT requirements by adhering to state and federal laws and regulations. Additional Responsibilities: + Presents, supports, and leads-by-example with a safety and quality-oriented attitude. Safety: + Ensures that safety is the most important function, follows safe practices while working. + Reinforces safe behaviors and eliminates “at risk” behaviors. + Reports potentially unsafe conditions and uses materials and equipment properly. + Ensures Job Hazard Analysis (JHA’s) occurs before scopes of work commence. + Adheres to and understands standard operating procedures. + Receives job- and task-specific training prior to work commencing. + Follows technical, quality and safety systems in place and determines appropriate action. + Reports potentially unsafe conditions and uses materials and equipment properly. + Attends work regularly and punctually, as scheduled or expected. + Complies with Employee Handbook, Code of Conduct and Company Policies & Procedures. Qualifications: + High School Diploma/GED required. + 1 or more years of experience in the construction field preferred. + Ability to travel domestically 76-100% required. + Must possess a valid Driver’s License. + Maintain a clear motor vehicle record (MVR) according to DOT and company standards. + Maintain a proper license and/or CDL that is in good standing: + Class A license + Class B license + DOT license + Tanker endorsements a plus. + Valid driver’s license is required. + Ability to operate and drive a vehicle/truck. + Good communication skills. + Ability to operate equipment safely and efficiently. + Ability to follow verbal and written directions accurately. + Ability to work on different types of terrain. + Functional competencies include attention to detail, communication, casting the right shadow, accountability, and ethics and integrity. Anticipated Range: $20.00 - $24.00 The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. Per Diem of $100.00 daily to cover lodging, meals and travel during rotation. RES offers benefits that are effective first day of employment.
