General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. Processes paperwork associated with these tasks. **This position is for the second shift.** **DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:** + Manage dispatch coordination and oversee the fleet at the yard. + Transports, delivers and picks up materials, merchandise and equipment throughout the Company and local and out of town destinations. + Ensures that material/equipment being transported are secured and protected while in transit. + Loads and unloads vehicle as required. + Participates in office and facilities relocations including moving. + Performs limited maintenance on vehicles such as fueling, washing etc. + May provide direction to less experienced staff. + Responsible for observing all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company. + Expected to work in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices. + Additional Functions: + May transport hazardous and/or radioactive materials with DOT hazardous material endorsement under the direction of a licensed dangerous goods shipper, cognizant licensing and safety personnel within the Company. + Other duties as assigned or required. GVWR including a towed vehicle GVWR of over 10,001 lbs. + Experience with dispatching and fleet management. + Requires a valid Class A driver license issued within the state of operation, including appropriate endorsements, valid USDOT number and valid USDOT Medical Certificate/card. + This position is subject to: + Periodic DOT compliance audits including random drug and alcohol screening, driving history audits, and required documentation. + USDOT and FMCSA Safety Regulations. + Pre-hire 7-year background check, including DMV verification. + Pre-hire drug and alcohol screen.
