**Job Summary**
The Truck Service Risk Specialist will work with Operations, Truck Service, and other departments with developing, implementing, and training policies, procedures, and programs for safely executing the job tasks required by Truck Service (TS) team members including in-bay, emergency roadside assistance, mobile maintenance tasks and heavy-duty repair, as well help to ensure that guests, and general public remain safe during and following TS repairs.
**Duties and Responsibilities**
+ Lead teams with developing and implementing safety policies, programs, training and initiatives in coordination with TS Operations teams and other corporate support departments to ensure safe workplace environments and job tasks for Truck Service team members.
+ Implement OSHA federal and state laws and legal compliance, and lead investigations and act as lead in working with OSHA on site inspections or fatality investigations
+ Inspect sites/work sites to identify any risk prevention opportunities and work with site management to develop actionable item improvements.
+ Perform accident and injury investigations on TS specific tasks; and act on root cause analysis.
+ Work in conjunction with other Risk Department personnel to achieve Believe in Zero Company goals.
+ Lead initiatives to analyze new scope of services in Truck Repair and integrate safety into the design at all times.
+ Maintain personal development by monitoring new regulations and best practices through articles and networking.
+ Work on assignments as delegated and safety programs to support Truck Service safety initiatives.
**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent work experience. Can be substituted by at least 5 years Truck Service leadership role, or role in Safety of at least 5 years.
+ Must demonstrate strong knowledge in the area of truck repair procedures and tools. Certifications in truck repair are a plus.
+ Must have work experience in working independently, display critical decision making, and coach and counsel others in expectations as needed.
+ Proficient in use of Microsoft Office products including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word programs.
+ OSHA certifications are a plus.
+ TIA 400 certification is a plus.
+ Must be able to travel via car or plane up to 70% of the time.

$60,000.00 - 80,000.00
annually - A pay range listed reflects the potential pay for this role. The pay
will depend on various factors, such as responsibilities of the position, job

In this role, the employee is
continuously sitting and typing, frequently talking and using eye and hand
coordination and may also be required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch
