We are currently looking to hire a Truck Service Technician for our Harrisonburg, VA location. As a Truck Service Technician, you will work offsite in a mobile truck to service McCarthy Tire customers with tire and wheel related needs. These needs include, but are not limited to replacing, inspecting, and/or repairing tires to ensure they are road ready and DOT compliant. Additionally, Commercial Tire Technicians will assist with any location/warehouse tasks when they are not performing service calls. These tasks include shop/pad work, loading/unloading retread/scrap trailers, and maintaining a clean/organized facility.

JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

\n\n\n\tPerform service (mount, balance, rotate, and repair tires) and repair work for customers as directed by Service Manager (both inside and mobile)\n\tDrive to customer locations or provide roadside service for inspections and tire repair.\n\tResponsible for safe operation of company vehicles including compliance with speed and traffic regulations.\n\tParticipates in training, follows safety procedures, job duties and company policies.\n\tAny other duties as assigned.\n\tOther duties can and will arise, and candidate should be prepared to take on these challenges openly.\n\n\n

REQUIREMENTS:

\n\n\n\tHigh School Degree or GED.\n\tMinimum age of 18.\n\tMust have a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.\n\tExperience with heavy duty and commercial tires, particularly tire mounting and dismounting.\n\n\n
