Perform maintenance on mobile and stationary equipment. Lead/Assist in any duties required.  All duties assigned by the supervisor/lead are to be performed in a safe and efficient manner.

 

 

Responsibilities

Candidate must be willing and able to:

Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on plant equipment (forklifts, Trackmobile, Backhoes, Scrap Handlers, etc.)Advanced knowledge of diesel engines, heavy transmissions, heavy-duty truck differentials, air brake equipment, automotive electrical system, heavy duty hydraulicsAir Conditioning knowledgeChange tires, perform welding and other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications Safety MindedPositive attitude(Preferred) 2 years’ experience on repair of Diesel engines and heavy transmissionsPass (70th percentile) the Mechanical Aptitude TestComputer literate Ability to create and maintain a safe work environment for self and crewGood communication skillsValid driver’s LicenseSupply own tools 1” and down
