**Description** Sanford Truck shop Mechanic Specialist (2nd Shift) 12PM-8:30pm job summary, specialist responsibilities include but are not limited to: Use diagnostic repair tools to ensure proper repairs, performing preventative maintenance, repairs of all company owned equipment or vehicles respond around yard and on road call situations. Work safely with no direct supervision during evening hours track and maintain repair orders and issue parts to jobs correctly complete repairs in reasonable time frames. Perform any other tasks necessary for work area within reason. working as part of a team and maintaining a clean shared work space Requirements: Valid NC drivers license, preferred CDL A 3 years’ experience in diesel equipment repair including but not limited to road tractors, trailers, forklifts, shuttle trucks, and their operation. 5 years preferred Provide own tool set including all hand, impact, and general use tools from ¼ “-1 ¼ “including but not limited to screw drivers, pry bars, electrical diagnostic, hammers, punches, and anything required to perform jobs on a regular basis. locking tool box capable of lifting 50 lbs. as necessary.
