Cathay Cargo focuses on enhancing transportation solutions by integrating trucking and intermodal services to optimize fleet networks.

As a Trucking and Intermodal Manager, you will orchestrate business and operational processes to ensure a seamless expansion of the fleet network and deliver efficient transportation of cargo, aligning with the goals of Cathay Cargo. You will need strong leadership skills, experience in logistics, and a strategic mindset to drive efficiency.

In this role, you will gain experience in logistics management and operational strategy, leading complex transportation projects. You will have the opportunity to contribute significantly to the growth and efficiency of the fleet network.

Key Responsibilities
Act as the business owner for trucking and intermodal services, collaborating with regions and other headquarters business units to define success metrics and secure necessary resourcesEnsure financial performance aligns with the strategic goals of Cathay CargoEnhance the cargo fleet network through partnerships with trucking and intermodal companiesPrioritize and implement initiatives to deliver top-tier trucking and intermodal servicesExtend network reach and complement air services to expand market presence in key regionsCollaborate with various business units to maintain stable trucking and intermodal operationsEnsure reliable schedules and on-time performance for all servicesSupport teams in negotiating with intermodal partners, focusing on commercial prioritiesDrive schedule and network expansion through automated distribution channelsOptimize the booking process and enhance operational efficiencyRequirements
University degree in Business or a related field is essentialOver eight years of relevant work experience with a minimum of three years in management rolesStrong understanding of the international trade industry, particularly in the Chinese mainlandKnowledge of Chinese mainland import and export regulations is advantageousFamiliarity with trucking models and experience in cross-border customs complianceExcellent analytical and numerical skills with strong business acumenGlobal insights into cargo markets and industry trends are beneficialHigh cultural awareness and strong interpersonal skills for effective collaborationProven ability to implement strategies and deliver results consistentlyMotivated individual with a willingness to learn and embrace new initiativesPersonal & Application Information
