Description Trust Accountant – Talent Agency (Hybrid, Century City, Temp-to-Hire) Our established talent agency is seeking a Trust Accountant to join our accounting team. This role is responsible for handling trust-related financial transactions with accuracy and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Primary Responsibilities: + Accurately match and apply payments to booking reports. + Investigate and resolve discrepancies in cash receipts. + Maintain client financial records and ensure documentation is attached appropriately. + Process adjustments, refunds, and fund transfers as needed. + Manage escrow funds and release payments in accordance with agreements. + Work with team members to resolve accounting issues and meet deadlines. + Support system upgrades and contribute to process improvements. + Escalate unresolved matters to the Trust Accounting Supervisor.
