**Summary:**
The position will be responsible for developing and maintaining strategic relationships with law enforcement authorities, government agencies focused on user privacy, safety, and security, and related industry coalitions in the EMEA region. You will also manage tactical responses to events related to the law enforcement community.
**Required Skills:**
Trust and Safety/Outreach Manager Responsibilities:
1. Develop and maintain effective working relationships with law enforcement and government authorities
2. Work closely with internal legal, investigative, policy and communications teams on engagement with law enforcement authorities on online and Meta Employee safety, key safety areas, security and law enforcement issues
3. Educate law enforcement authorities on our policies for protecting user privacy and responding to legal requests
4. Work closely with Meta’s legal and law enforcement response teams and outside counsel in responding to governmental requests for data
5. Work with investigation teams to develop and refer relevant matters to law enforcement authorities
6. Work with internal teams and global safety organizations to develop and enhance safety awareness, and manage other safety related issues in the region
7. Support launches and different initiatives being driven across platforms
8. Support the Company and its employees during emergencies
9. Travel frequently in Europe, Middle East, Africa and other parts of the world (periodically) and flexibility in covering different countries and backing up colleagues in other countries
**Minimum Qualifications:**

10. Fluent English and Arabic communication skills
11. Familiarity and experience with the legal system in the Middle East and Africa
12. Extensive experience in a security, safety or law enforcement role within the private sector
13. Experience with law enforcement agencies relating to requests for data
14. Experience in processing legal documents (e.g., civil and criminal subpoenas, court orders and search warrants)
15. Technical knowledge, and experience related to cybercrime and online investigations
16. Demonstrated presentation and communication skills
17. Experience working outside of regular business hours, including weekends and occasional holidays, to address emergency matters that may arise

18. Prosecution or criminal investigation experience
19. Technical knowledge of specific criminal areas such as cybercrime, child safety, human trafficking, frauds and scams, illicit drugs/firearms or terrorism is a plus
20. Extensive experience working with Law Enforcement Agencies, Data Protection Authorities, Financial Institutions, and/or Internet Industry Associations across the region
