Trust/Fund Specialist 2
Description

Summary:

The Trust/Fund Specialist 2 works under direct supervision, performs a limited variety of trust assignments that are moderately complex in nature and require detailed knowledge of trust and department procedures.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Position may require direct and indirect interactions with client relationship managers, account advisors and account administrators to actively resolve issuesPrepares, adjusts and closes basic journal entries.Examines, processes, codes, verifies, balances, and reconciles transactions from listings, invoices, vouchers, and reports.Performs a more complex application of standard bookkeeping and accounting procedures for trust account processing.Prepares, adjusts, and closes basic journal entries.Verifies accounting documents for consistency, accuracy, and completeness.Reviews and processes contributions, distributions, interest, principal, dividends, corporate actions, or fees.Provides assistance to Relationship Managers on most questions and requests.Handles balancing and generation of periodic reports and/or statements of moderately complex accounts.Offers recommendations for development of new procedures or workflow changes.This position is cross-trained to perform various trust functions and may participate in the cross training of othersPerforms other duties as assigned

This is a hybrid role. You must be located near 5555 Cleveland Ave Columbus, Ohio.


Basic Qualifications:

High School Diploma3 or more years of experience in banking, securities processing or financial services
