We are looking for a Trust & Safety Associate to join our growing Operations team. This position is based in Manila, where a significant portion of the operations team is located.
What You Do
Key responsibilities:
Regularly monitor and investigate suspicious activities flagged by FUGA’s fraud detection technology and data insights provided by our DSP partners. Evaluate these activities and take both preventative and corrective actions to safeguard FUGA's relationships with DSP partners
Manage and respond to incoming DMCA claims and fraudulent streaming notifications from DSPs. This includes communicating with our clients to ensure timely resolution and taking necessary actions, such as content takedowns, to comply with legal standards
Serve as a point of contact for clients regarding Trust & Safety issues. Ensure that communication is clear, timely and helps in maintaining strong relationships while addressing concerns effectively
Educate FUGA’s clients on best practices to prevent artificial streaming and copyright conflicts. Provide guidance on how to align with DSP content guidelines and avoid actions that could lead to fraudulent activities or DMCA claims
Assist in developing educational materials and resources that clients can use to better understand and comply with industry standards, ultimately reducing the risk of future issues
Contribute with insights and recommendations to enhance our controls, processes and fraud prevention strategies
Handle daily operations, including managing escalations and resolving issues related to fraud, abuse and copyright claims. Ensure that all processes are executed efficiently and in line with internal and external policies
Assist in maintaining and updating data reports, dashboards and internal documentation for tracking fraudulent activities and claims. Ensure that data is accurately processed and regularly reviewed
Respond to ad hoc queries and provide analytical support to the Trust & Safety and Business Affairs (BA) teams, helping to resolve issues as they arise
Work closely with the BA team and other internal stakeholders on issues related to claims or artificial streaming. Ensure alignment and support in broader team initiatives, including vetting new clients and aligning with the Statements team on royalty-related processes
Who You Are
Required:
Previous experience in a client-facing role, ideally within the music distribution industry
Proficient in data analysis using Excel and Google Sheets. Capable of processing and analysing large datasets effectively
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to manage client interactions and collaborate with internal teams
Highly detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple tasks and ensuring accuracy in all aspects of work
Nice to Have:
Strong understanding of common fraud prevention techniques, copyright infringement detection and DSP content guidelines
Knowledge of DMCA claims and how fraudulent streaming impacts relationships with DSPs
Basic understanding of SQL and experience with dashboard visualisation tools like Looker or Tableau. While not mandatory, a willingness to learn and apply these tools is beneficial
A proactive approach to identifying and suggesting improvements to processes and policies within the Trust & Safety function
Experience working with YouTube Content ID or familiarity with newer fraud prevention requirements set out by DSPs
